Our Mission: To keep Jasmine Owens' memory alive through scholarships and service that will honor her passion and love for sports, health and education. Providing financial assistance to female, scholar-athletes of Prince George’s County, Maryland who demonstrate a financial need at a Division II or III college or university is one way in which we strive to fulfill this mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a Prince George’s County Resident
-
Must identify as a female scholar-athlete (graduating high school senior or collegiate)
-
Enrolled and committed to play at a Division II or III college or university (4-year or community college)
-
Overall 2.5 GPA on 4.0 scale
-
10-15 hours of Community Service Hours

One signed and dated letter of recommendation from a school or university teacher or advisor.

One signed and dated letter of recommendation from coach or athletic department.

One signed and dated letter of verification for required community service hours.

Official high school or college transcript.

Drunk Driving Essay. Must be 1200 words.

For graduating high school seniors, scholarships will be funded the first semester of enrollment. For current collegiate athletes, scholarships will be awarded and funded in the upcoming semester with checks payable to the college or university. Scholarship recipients will be recognized by 4Jazz Foundation during a formal event to be announced at a later time. Minimum awards will be in the amount of $500.
